Terms of Service

QuickBrick is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by BrickLink or the LEGO Group. "BrickLink" is a trademark of the LEGO Group BrickLink. "LEGO" is a trademark of the LEGO Group.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using QuickBrick ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
QuickBrick is an inventory management tool that helps BrickLink sellers scan and catalog LEGO bricks using AI-powered part identification. The App uses the BrickLink API to read and update your store inventory on your behalf.
3. BrickLink Integration
By using QuickBrick, you authorize the App to access your BrickLink store using the API credentials you provide. Specifically, QuickBrick may:
- Read your inventory data
- Add items to your inventory
- Remove items from your inventory
- Retrieve pricing information
You remain solely responsible for your BrickLink account and all inventory changes made through QuickBrick.
4. Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate BrickLink API credentials and use the App in compliance with BrickLink's Terms of Service and API Terms.
⚠️ Important: Inventory Updates Are Immediate
When you initiate a scan, inventory changes are applied automatically and immediately to your BrickLink store — there is no confirmation step. The workflow is:
1. You take a photo of a brick.
2. AI identifies the brick and color.
3. Inventory is immediately updated on BrickLink.
4. You see the result and may use "Undo" if needed.
You are solely responsible for reviewing scan results and using the Undo feature promptly if a scan is incorrect.
You also agree to:
- Regularly review your BrickLink inventory to ensure accuracy
- Maintain the security of your API credentials
- Use the App for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
- Not use the App in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
5. Subscription and Payment Terms
Free Trial
New users receive 100 free scans as a one-time trial with no time limit and no credit card required. Trial scans do not expire.
Paid Plans
Subscriptions are billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and renew automatically unless cancelled. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
Usage
A "month" is a rolling 30-day period. Each scan counts toward your monthly limit. Unused scans do not roll over. If you reach your limit, you must upgrade or wait for your limit to reset.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
6. Brick Identification Accuracy
QuickBrick uses the Brickognize API for AI-powered part identification. Identification accuracy is not guaranteed. You are solely responsible for verifying all identified bricks before and after each scan. QuickBrick is not liable for incorrect identifications, inventory errors, or financial losses resulting from inaccurate scans.
Best practices to minimize errors:
- Position the brick clearly in frame before scanning
- Review the result screen after every scan
- Use "Undo" immediately if you spot an error
- Periodically audit your BrickLink store for accuracy
7. Data and Privacy
We collect your email address, encrypted BrickLink API credentials, and scan/usage statistics. Payment information is processed by Apple or Google and is not stored by QuickBrick. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time; we will process deletion requests within 30 days.
8. Intellectual Property
QuickBrick owns all rights to the App, including its code, design, and branding. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App. You retain ownership of your inventory data. By using the App, you grant QuickBrick limited access to your BrickLink data as necessary to provide the service.
9. Service Availability
QuickBrick is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The App depends on third-party services (BrickLink API, Brickognize) that may experience downtime beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time and will provide notice of material changes when possible.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickBrick is not liable for incorrect brick identifications, inventory errors or data loss, BrickLink API downtime, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you is limited to the lesser of the amount you paid to QuickBrick in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100. This limitation does not apply to death or bodily injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold QuickBrick harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of BrickLink's terms or any applicable laws, or disputes with third parties related to your use of the service.
12. Termination
We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we suspect fraud or abuse. We may discontinue the service entirely with 30 days' notice. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and requesting data deletion through support. Upon termination, your access ceases immediately and your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR STATE/COUNTRY], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION].
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and QuickBrick Labs, LLC regarding your use of the App.
